Find WIFI password on mac OSX in 5 easy steps!
We all are human, it is pretty much common that we mostly forget passwords. In the modern world, almost every single person use the smart device like a tablet, Phone, Computer. What if you forget your password, but our device still connects to it.
In past couple of months, I have spent over 15 minutes just tried to find my wifi password. In windows computer, it’s quite easy, but on MAC I had no idea. After wasting my 15 minutes, I have found a solution.
Below are 5 easy steps to find your connected wifi password in MAC.
Step 1: Type Keychain Access into Spotlight search at the top-right menu bar. OR open it from Launchpad.
Step 2: In the sidebar, click on Passwords, then search for the network you want the password for and double click on it.
Step 3: Click on Show Password. Confirm your administrator username and password.
Step 4: Enter your administrator name and password again. (sometimes you have to enter login credentials twice)
Step 5: The Wi-Fi password should appear in the text box next to Show Password.
Keychains also store your applications and browser passwords. It’s always a great practice to store the password in keychain. It helps you to remember your passwords.
